We want our apps to be safe and secure for anyone to use. In fact, we design them so we’d be comfortable sharing them with our own family and friends, and we therefore have the following policies:
We will never build an app that collects any kind of personal data or uses any kind of advertising frameworks for tracking usage. Even the apps that leverages logins from Google or Facebook, will not access the email provided by these vendors, but only store anonymous ID tokens to make sure we can find your content when you log in again.
If the app has any user generated content, we will store it on Google Firebase in Europe and take all possible steps we know of to ensure it is encrypted and only made available to whomever you decide. We will also always include a feature to allow you to delete all your content and accounts whenever you choose. If you do, we will not keep any data at all, so only do this if you really mean it.
Here is a list of our apps and how above policies relate to them:
- Qualk – Uses Google/Apple login and user content, and complies with our policies
- dotEquals – Doesn’t use any personal information or content
- NSSB – Doesn’t use any personal information or content. Your statistics and settings are stored locally on your phone.
- Find Dot Pairs/dotMemory – Doesn’t use any personal information or content. Your statistics and settings are stored locally on your phone.
- Dot Games – Doesn’t collect any information at all.
